Gesa Credit Union Partners with Tri-Cities Youth Soccer Association

RICHLAND, WASHINGTON ‒ Gesa Credit Union is partnering with the Tri-Cities Youth Soccer Association (T-CYSA) to allow community members to raise funds for children interested in soccer while also showing their pride for the sport.

The new program with the T-CYSA earns funds for the T-CYSA which will help to fund soccer programs and provides scholarships for children who couldn’t otherwise afford to participate in this group activity, each time a cardholder swipes their branded Gesa VISA® Debit Card.

“We are excited to for the opportunity to extend our giving program to the families and supporters of the Tri-Cities Youth Soccer Association,” said Don Miller, President and CEO of Gesa Credit Union. “This donation will provide a source of revenue, allowing for more children in our community the accessibility to learn the values and life-long skills a team sport provides.” This partnership provides Gesa with enhanced community engagement opportunities along with special advertising and branding opportunities. “We are thrilled and grateful to partner with Gesa Credit Union,” said Stephanie Koerner, T-CYSA Board President. “We look for partners who share the same values of integrity, teamwork, and commitment to our youth as we do. Joining forces is a great way to bring new engagement and soccer to many youths throughout our community. We work to make youth soccer a wonderful positive part of the players physical, social, and cognitive education.”

The co-branded debit cards are free to Gesa members with a checking account. Community members wishing to obtain a Tri-Cities Youth Soccer Association Gesa VISA® card can visit one of Gesa’s eighteen member service centers and have their new card printed instantly.
