Welcome to the T-CYSA!

The Tri-Cities Youth Soccer Association (T-CYSA) was organized as a not-for-profit corporation to provide equal opportunities for boys and girls age 5 through 19 to learn and play the great game of soccer. We organize local games, coordinate league play, host regional tournaments, and field teams that participate in tournaments throughout the region.

T-CYSA is affiliated with the Washington State Youth Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer, United States Soccer Federation, and Federation Internationale de Football Association.

The purpose of this Association, as stated in the T-CYSA Bylaw Statement of Purpose, is:

  • To teach, govern and promote the game of soccer.
  • To encourage courtesy, proper conduct, and respect for authority by the players, officials, and spectators.
  • To promote a sense of fair play, good sportsmanship, and the development of leadership.
  • To develop physical fitness, mental alertness, and self discipline.

What's New

Recreational Uniform Delivery

Coaches and Parents,

We have received a late evening (Thursday 9/4) update on our uniform orders that are supposed to be received by the coaches if a team order was placed, or those individual orders that were placed by parents to be delivered to our office for pick up.

To cut a very long story short, only half of all of our orders placed made it onto the UPS truck for delivery to our complex late tomorrow morning or to the coaches. The balance of the order will arrive by special carrier from the Seattle Airport sometime after 5pm tomorrow afternoon.

Staff at T-CYSA have committed to stay at the complex until all orders have been picked up by either parents or coaches. We realize how important this is to you and your children and we don't want there to be any disappointment.

So we ask your patience while we work through this and make every effort to accomate as many teams and parents as we can. We will be contacting everyone individually to come and pick up what we have.

Feel free to call the office if needed tomorrow but realize we may not be able to help you until we have an opportunity to go through what shows up on the truck versus what will show up later in the afternoon.

Again we thank you in advance for your understanding and we also apologize on behalf of our suppier who really is trying to make good on their promised Friday delivery.

Sincerely,

Teresa Obenauer, Office Manager
Rick Dawson, Board President

Sideline Behavior

Do NOT make negative comments to referees. We have many young licensed referees who quit because they were tired of being yelled at by coaches and parents.

Coaches: You are responsible for (a) setting a good example by practicing good sportsmanship, and (b) controlling the behavior of people on your sideline.
